GCQuad Launch Monitor Review

GCQuad is an advanced, highly qualified launch monitor that compacts superior camera technology than the GC2. It is also quite expensive on the other side but is a well-equipped launch monitor. It has also previously received the Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award.
GCQuad can measure ball performance and clubs accurately with the help of high-speed quadrascopic cameras and infrared object tracking systems, which is a massive upgrade from the GC2. Read more about gc quad from here.
The cameras placed in the corners of the unit can capture hundreds of pictures, make a 3D view of the ball impact and the club and give precise data measurements.
GCQuad also has the golf simulation software E6 connect and FSX to elevate the game.
The Setup of GCQuad
Setting the launch monitor is not as complicated as it seems.
The launch monitor is known for its precision and performance.
Set the device for about 20 inches from the striking area. The device should be parallel to the hitting surface. Out of this positioning, the GCQuad will be able to track the ball and club data within a 14′′x16′′ range, relying on the activated feature. Switch on the device, and now you are ready to strike. If you want to mark club data, you must use the club markers on the club face. You can also download the FSX software on a device. Make use of the manual for additional tips.
Accuracy
GCQuad has better features to measure data parameters than GC2 with HMT. It can measure various ball data, which includes carry distance, spin, speed of the ball, the side spin, and horizontal & vertical launch angle.
With club data, you can measure various club parameters based on the placements of cameras.
It can measure the club path, face angle, smash factors, attack angle, impact area, and club head speed are some of the club data.
Golf simulation
The launch monitor currently features four software.
- FSX 2020
FSX 2020 is foresight sport’s in-build software with many practice ranges, game modes, skill challenges, and ways to brawl with other players worldwide.
- FSX Play
FSX gears up with a high utility graphics engine along with HDRP. It has three modes: golf courses, practice areas, and other games.
- E6 CONNECT
The software needs the license of FSX 2020 to use. It gives features like sorting previous shots, tracking each strike under a profile, and many more.
- Creative Golf 3D
This software also requires FSX 2020 license. It’s an alternative to the E6 CONNECT. The software has 15 golf courses in the base version, along with many practice modes.
